Nice! ,.. I used only mouse in coloring all my digital arts,.. (because I don't have a tablet) the secrets are just the tools in photoshop,.. like pen tool for selection, smudge tool for blending effects,.. so on..., just try to familiarize the tools, download some brushes or create your own and keep on practicing. keep it up
I was going to say "if the lines are cleaner then it's better", but when I saw "made with a mouse"... This, is, awesome!! Especially the tattoo, I could hardly imagine drawing it with the mouse... You did a great job!!
But... maybe it's better to adjust the position of his left leg a little? Doesn't look like he's standing on a flat plane...
I like this one. Very neat that you were able to do that with Photoshop (which I am not very good at! It's a different language for me). It is a character that is based on a ancient Egyptian type of world or civilization?
Is the tattooing also done with a mouse or was it a cut and paste. If it was done with a mouse then it appears you spent most of your time on that.
the tattoo is great but if you use layers then you could plan out a proportional body and the books mentioned by ~ChrisHernandez215 are also great ideas I've never read them but I will eventually great first shot this is much better than my first digital painting
It's good for a 1st drawing. I would strongly recommend some book involving form: Force dynamics, The illusion of life, Drawn to life vol. 1 and 2. These are some books that would help form more life in your drawings.
Lots of dedication on the details and Photoshop can be difficult to use. You did a nice job here! I recommend that you play a little with the brushes textures and sizes. That's fun, and there's many brushes you can download for free here on deviantart
